Release: UNDERLY CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES ENDORSEMENT OF 12 STATE LEGISLATORS

HOLLANDALE, Wis. — Pecatonica Area School District Superintendent and candidate for Wisconsin State Superintendent Jill Underly announced today she has been endorsed by 12 legislators from across the state including Senators Jeff Smith and Kelda Roys, and Representatives Don Vruwink, Lisa Subeck, Diane Hesselbein, Jodi Emerson, Kristina Shelton, Mark Spreitzer, Jimmy Anderson, Sondy Pope, and Tod Ohnstad. Also endorsing is former State Senator Kathleen Vinehout.

“Jill Underly has more than two decades of public education experience,” said Senator Kelda Roys, D-Madison. “She will always be a champion of our public schools and is committed to the success and wellbeing of every single child. I’m proud to endorse Jill to be our next State Superintendent.” 

“Dr. Underly is the only candidate in the race who’s currently tackling the COVID-19 crisis as a district superintendent,” said Rep. Jodi Emerson, D-Eau Claire. “Jill is the most qualified progressive public school champion running and has my full support to be our next State Superintendent.”

“Dr. Jill Underly will work to ensure that every student in Wisconsin has access to a high quality public education, no matter their zip code,” said Rep. Kristina Shelton, D-Green Bay. “I know that Jill is the most qualified and best candidate to lead our public schools and she has my full support.”
